Plantation Acres Remodel

Project overview

In the heart of Plantation Acres, a single-family residence transformed by Architecture Experience and built by VMC Florida — a fusion of architectural planning, interior design, and careful construction.

Scope

The remodel was a comprehensive overhaul aimed at both form and function: wholesale replacement of trim and finishes, a redesigned kitchen with new cabinetry and appliances, and selective replacement of lighting fixtures and bathroom finishes.

Interior design and furnishings

Working closely with the client's preferences, our team curated the interior throughout — balancing comfort, function, and appearance into a blend of textures, colours, and patterns that gives the house a consistent warmth.

Pool area and landscape

Attention extended past the interior to the pool area, where planting was selected to make the outdoor space a genuine extension of the house rather than a leftover. In South Florida, where the pool deck is used year round, treating it as part of the living space rather than as landscaping is what makes a remodel feel complete.

Construction

Collaborating with VMC Florida, the work was executed to a high standard of craftsmanship — from ceiling and flooring repairs through to final finishes.
