Working with the designer
Architecture Experience partnered with Scott Yetman Design to articulate an intricately designed and detailed residential interior. Our role covered the architectural side of that collaboration: translating the design intent into construction documents, securing permits and association approvals, coordinating MEP engineering with Calc Engineering, and administering construction with builder Sciame Homes.
Why it matters
Flush-mounted door systems and stone detailing of this kind leave no tolerance to hide behind. Openings, substrates, and mechanical coordination all have to be resolved on paper before anything is ordered — which is exactly the point at which an architect earns their fee on a project this size.
