Scope
The drawings cover all exterior and interior spaces, the building, and sitework — prepared to support the design of a second-floor addition, a major interior alteration, and enclosed patios and balconies. The residence comprises approximately 7,800 square feet of conditioned and covered area.
Why precision scanning was required
Built in the early twentieth century in the Spanish Mission Revival style, the house steps across multiple floor levels overlooking the bay. Period construction with changing levels is exactly the condition where hand measurement accumulates error — scanning was necessary to produce drawings the design team could rely on.
We provided complete interior drawings identifying all systems, building elements, and interior design features, which let the client and project team determine precisely what existing conditions the renovation would have to address.
